At sixteen, everyone in Sophia Riller's world receives a blessing from an animal god. The shy count's daughter hopes for something modest that will let her enjoy a quiet school life, only to receive the blessing of the Gorilla God, said to grant the greatest raw physical strength of them all.

Sophia tries to hide what she can do, but impossible feats of strength are difficult to pass off as ordinary accidents. The Royal Knights quickly recruit her as an apprentice, forcing her to balance classes, training, and duties she never wanted while talented young knights begin treating her with an attention and kindness she is equally unprepared for.
