Ganbare! Nakamura-kun!!

Okuto Nakamura falls for his classmate Aiki Hirose the instant he sees him at the school entrance ceremony. Unfortunately, Nakamura is so painfully shy that starting an ordinary conversation feels harder than confessing his feelings. He therefore chooses a goal that seems slightly more achievable: become Hirose's friend first.

Every carefully imagined attempt somehow ends more awkwardly than the one before it, and Nakamura's own fantasies turn every glance or casual word into an elaborate romantic scenario. Yet little by little, he does manage to make an impression on Hirose. With an entire school year ahead of him, Nakamura may actually have a chance at getting closer to the boy he loves, provided his imagination stops sabotaging him before reality can.
