Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

Edward and Alphonse Elric attempt to bring their mother back through alchemy and pay a catastrophic price. Edward loses an arm and a leg, while Alphonse loses his entire body and survives only because his soul is bound to a suit of armor. The brothers begin searching for the Philosopher's Stone, hoping it can restore what they lost, and Edward joins the military to gain access to information they need. Their search soon reveals that the stone is tied to human sacrifice and a conspiracy reaching into the state itself. The closer they come to a solution, the harder it becomes to decide what should never be exchanged for one.
