Tensui no Sakuna-hime: Kokorowa Inasaku Nisshi

Kokorowa wants her next book to contain something she cannot find in diagrams or inventions, so she chooses an experience entirely outside her comfort zone: growing rice on Hinoe Island. What first looks like a task that can be mastered through planning and calculation quickly confronts her with mud, weather, and daily work that offers no convenient shortcut.

Learning alongside Sakuna and the island's residents, Kokorowa begins to understand how much patience and care can be contained in a single grain of rice. The field gives her more than material for a new book; it lets her see Sakuna's life and the labor of the humans around her from a perspective she has never truly shared.
