Arne no Jikenbo

Lynn Reinweiß, a nobleman's daughter fascinated by vampires, loses her way in Lügenberg, a city where humans and non-humans live side by side behind layers of secrecy. There she meets Arne Neuntöte, an eccentric vampire detective whose supernatural abilities let him investigate what ordinary humans cannot.

When murders and impossible incidents begin surfacing, the unlikely pair are drawn together by the same need to uncover what really happened. Each case leads deeper into the city's hidden lives and toward people concealing more than they reveal, forcing Lynn to discover that loving stories about vampires is very different from standing inside a crime where she cannot tell which monster she should fear.
