Liar Liar

On Academy Island, games decide every student's rank through a system of stars. Hiroto Shinohara arrives with only one, then accidentally defeats Sarasa Saionji, the island's celebrated top student, in circumstances he cannot reveal without losing everything. A secret organization led by Shirayuki Himeji helps him survive by creating an even bigger lie: Hiroto will pretend to be a 7-Star. From then on, ambitious students constantly challenge the supposed genius, forcing him to win through bluffing, preparation, and carefully arranged tricks while he quietly uses his new position to search for a girl who disappeared from his past.
