Qing Chi Hong Xiaodou Ba! Wai Zhuan: Mo Xiang Wang

A tiny red bean who knows little about human feelings becomes a silent witness to a love story from long ago. A young scholar and a woman who grew up beside him promise themselves to one another before he leaves for the imperial examination, with a string of red beans left behind as a token of remembrance.

Separation tests a bond that once seemed simple, and the little bean watches longing, misunderstanding, and devotion unfold across the years. Though it cannot fully understand the emotions of humans, it comes to carry the memories of a love that refuses to be easily forgotten.
