Mitsumi Iwakura continues her school life in Tokyo far more connected to her classmates than she ever expected when she first arrived from the countryside. Shima is no longer simply the first friend who helped her settle in, while her bonds with Mika, Yuzuki, Makoto, and the others have become part of how she understands herself and her new city.

As feelings change and questions about the future become harder to ignore, ordinary relationships begin to carry greater weight. Mitsumi tries to keep her natural honesty through misunderstandings, jealousy, and the small choices of adolescence, while everyone around her learns that growing up rarely means knowing the right direction in advance.
