Zatsuyou Fuyo Jutsushi ga Jibun no Saikyou ni Kizuku made

Wim Strauss is a support caster who strengthens, protects, and heals his companions from the rear, but the members of his party treat his magic as menial work that deserves no respect. When they finally throw him out, Wim begins to wonder whether his years as an adventurer proved his ability or only hid his failures.

His childhood friend Heidemarie gives him another chance by arranging an audition with her elite A-rank party, Nachtlibelle. There, Wim must prove that the magic everyone dismissed can decide an entire battle, and he may discover before anyone else that the role he always considered secondary hides far more power than he ever realized.
