Kana Sakuragi continues her work at Magilumiere after growing from an anxious job seeker into a magical girl her coworkers can trust in the field. As the Kaii incidents facing the company become more demanding, her role is no longer limited to following instructions; she has to understand each problem and help devise the right solution.

At the same time, competing beliefs and hidden histories within the magical-girl industry come into sharper focus, placing the small Magilumiere company against organizations with very different ideas about what the profession should become. Between workplace pressure and the responsibility of protecting lives, Kana continues developing her own way of being both an employee and a magical girl.
