Mars Red

Tokyo in 1923 is facing a rapidly growing vampire crisis driven by the illegal trade of Ascra, an artificial source of blood. In response, the military forms Code Zero, a covert unit made up of vampires and placed under the command of Colonel Yoshinobu Maeda.

Their task is to trace the Ascra supply and eliminate vampires threatening the city, but the members of Code Zero exist uncomfortably between hunter and prey. Several are still struggling with the loss of their humanity, while the military barely trusts them enough to keep the unit alive. As the number of victims rises and the conspiracy behind the crisis deepens, Maeda and his men discover that protecting Tokyo may require confronting forces far more dangerous than the vampires they were ordered to hunt.
