Saishuu Gakushou Hibike! Euphonium: Kouhen

After clearing the difficult Kansai competition, Kitauji High School's concert band finally stands on the road to the national stage it has pursued for so long. Qualification does not erase the tension within the group, however, and Mayu Kuroe continues questioning the distance between music that is fun for everyone and Kitauji's uncompromising merit-based approach.

Kumiko Oumae enters the final audition carrying two wishes she cannot simply abandon: winning national gold and performing the soli with Reina. When the members for the last competition are chosen, her entire final year seems to converge on a single decision, and the band must discover what sound will carry its long journey to the end.
