Yamato 2520

In the year 2520, long after the age of the original Yamato, the planet Limbos lives under the control of the Seiren Federation. A group of young people tired of occupation discover the remains and data of an ancient Earth Federation battleship carrying a legendary name.

Using the stolen information and Seiren's own automated shipyards, they construct a new vessel worthy of being called Yamato. What begins as an act of rebellion becomes a flight toward freedom and a new conflict between powers whose old war never truly disappeared, placing an inexperienced crew aboard the eighteenth ship to inherit Yamato's name.
