Takumi continues his life in Mildgard after the alchemy skill he chose in hopes of a peaceful crafting life turned him into someone capable of creating things that seem impossible. Between developing tools, vehicles, and equipment and helping the people around him, his responsibilities keep expanding faster than his desire to avoid trouble.

Every new invention attracts attention from people and powers he cannot simply ignore, while problems tied to alchemy itself begin threatening the calm he has built. Takumi only wants to make useful things and live peacefully, but extraordinary talent keeps proving that the strongest alchemist may not have the luxury of staying outside conflict.
