Saint Seiya: Tenkai-hen Josou - Overture

After the battle against Hades, Seiya survives but is left nearly motionless and stripped of his former strength. The goddess Artemis descends to claim Sanctuary and offers Athena a cruel bargain: Seiya’s life in exchange for Athena surrendering her authority over Earth.

Athena accepts and disappears from Seiya’s side, but he refuses to remain helpless when the heavens turn against humanity. Reuniting with the Bronze Saints, Seiya fights Artemis’s Angels and searches for Athena, only to discover that the conflict extends toward powers above even the Olympian gods he has faced before and that his bond with Athena itself is being judged.
