Shuumatsu Touring

Civilization has ended, the roads are empty, and Japan's famous tourist destinations belong to almost no one. For Youko and Airi, that sounds less like a reason to give up and more like the perfect time for a road trip. Riding together on a Serow off-road motorcycle, the two girls cross silent highways, ruined cities, hot springs, and landmarks that once overflowed with people.

They photograph the scenery, camp wherever night finds them, and enjoy the strange freedom of traveling without traffic, crowds, or schedules. The deserted world occasionally reminds them of everything that has disappeared, but their journey is not driven by despair. As long as the bike keeps moving and there is another place ahead to see, the end of the world still has room for wonder.
