As Xie Kanhua faces execution at Shanglin Celestial Palace, the attempt to save him triggers a collapse that upends the martial world. Su Jian, the Demon Lord who spent twenty years in self-imposed confinement, takes Su Baiyi with him, while the companions scatter in search of healing and greater strength. Su Baiyi heads toward North Kunlun to save the injured Nangong Xi'er, and his friends pursue training of their own. At the same time, the legendary Yingzhou Immortal Island reappears, bringing outsiders who demand submission and turning old rivalries into a threat to the entire martial world.
