Gekidol: Actidol Project

Five years after a mysterious phenomenon erased parts of cities around the world, Ikebukuro is still living with the scars of the disaster and unexplained electromagnetic anomalies. High school student Seria Morino becomes fascinated by theater after watching a performance that uses advanced holographic technology to bring life back to the damaged district, and she begins dreaming of standing on stage herself. When Kaoru Sakakibara invites her to join the small troupe Alice in Theater, Seria meets girls who believe their performances can give people hope. Yet behind the rehearsals and shows lie questions about the vanished cities, the troupe's past, and Seria herself. The closer she moves toward her dream, the harder it becomes to separate the artificial worlds created onstage from the strange reality surrounding her.
