Platinum End

An angel named Nasse saves Mirai Kakehashi at the moment he intends to die and gives him abilities that initially look like a second chance: wings that let him exceed human limits and arrows capable of changing another person's feelings or ending a life instantly. The true price becomes clear when Mirai learns he has been entered into a contest to choose God's successor. Thirteen humans, each backed by an angel, have been selected as candidates. Mirai has no desire to rule and refuses to treat killing as the easiest path forward, but others have no such restraint. His wish is only for ordinary, peaceful happiness, yet even mercy can become a lethal disadvantage in a contest like this.
