Nanatsu no Umi no Tico

Nanami Simpson lives aboard the research vessel Peperonchino with her marine-biologist father Scott. Their travels are tied to his search for the mysterious glowing whale, but Nanami's closest companion is Tico, the orca she swims with almost every day.
