Mashin Eiyuuden Wataru: Shichikon no Ryuujinmaru

When another crisis strikes Soukaizan, Wataru returns as its savior and faces the mysterious enemy Dobazudar. The battle ends in disaster: Ryujinmaru sacrifices himself to protect Wataru and is shattered into pieces. Yet a faint voice reaches Wataru afterward, telling him that Ryujinmaru is still barely alive.

In a dream, Wataru sees an upside-down version of Soukaizan known as Musoukai-zan, a strange realm said to exist somewhere beyond ordinary time and place. Convinced that Ryujinmaru's scattered spirit lies there, Wataru sets out with Himiko and Toraoh. To restore his partner, he must cross unfamiliar worlds, recover the dragon's lost souls, and face the force that broke Ryujinmaru in the first place.
