Hashire Melos (Movie)

Melos travels from Messina to Syracuse to buy a ceremonial sword for his sister's wedding, only to be arrested by a king consumed by fear of betrayal. Sentenced to death, Melos asks for three days to return home for the ceremony.

The king agrees only if someone remains as a hostage, and Melos's new sculptor friend accepts the risk. Now every obstacle on the road back becomes a test of whether one man's promise can prove that trust still deserves to exist.
