Kindaichi Shounen no Jikenbo: Shinigami Byouin Satsujin Jiken

Hajime Kindaichi lands in Kiyomasa General Hospital after eating himself sick, only to discover that Inspector Kenmochi is already investigating a mysterious death there. What begins as an unfortunate stay becomes a murder case when more violence follows and the shadow of a supposed "Death God" hangs over the hospital's staff, patients, and troubled past.

As Kindaichi searches for the human logic behind the frightening image, old medical wrongdoing and a tragedy from three years earlier begin to surface. At the same time, Superintendent Akechi faces a separate puzzle aboard a cruise ship when the Gentleman Thief announces a theft. Both detectives must look past carefully staged appearances before another culprit slips away behind a convincing disguise.
