Hou Yi: Jian Shen

During Emperor Yao's reign, calamity strikes from every direction: floods ravage the land, rival tribes rebel, monsters roam freely, and ten suns blaze in the sky at once. In the middle of the chaos rises the young archer Hou Yi, entrusted with a divine bow capable of challenging forces no ordinary warrior can withstand.

Hou Yi crushes the rebellion, defeats the demons, and shoots down nine suns to save the people from ruin. Yet none of those victories can protect his own happiness. When the traitor Feng Meng steals the elixir of immortality while Hou Yi is away, Chang'e swallows it in desperation and ascends to the moon, leaving the legendary hero with a separation no arrow can overcome.
