Doraemon: Nobita's the Night Before a Wedding

Nobita cannot stop wondering whether Shizuka really will become his wife, so he and Doraemon travel into the future to see the wedding for themselves. A small mistake lands them one day early, where they meet the adult versions of their friends preparing for the ceremony instead.

Rather than return immediately, the pair secretly follow future Nobita through the final day before his marriage. A lost cat sends the grown friends on an unexpected errand, while quiet moments with Shizuka and her family reveal something more important than simply confirming the wedding: the kind of person Nobita may eventually grow into.
