Doraemon: 2112-nen Doraemon Tanjou

In the year 2112, a factory produces a new robotic cat who will one day be known as Doraemon. A mishap during manufacturing leaves him slightly different from the other robots, and his early life is filled with embarrassing failures despite his earnest desire to become a useful caretaker.

After meeting the Sewashi family, a chain of accidents costs Doraemon his ears and even changes his once-yellow body to the familiar blue. Yet those painful experiences lead him to the purpose that defines his future: travel back to the twentieth century and help Sewashi’s unlucky ancestor, Nobita Nobi, build a better life.
