Wind Breaker

Haruka Sakura has spent most of his life being rejected for his appearance and poor social skills, turning every hostile encounter into fighting ability and convincing himself that strength is the only thing that gives him value. He enters Furin High with one goal: reach the top by defeating the strongest students there.

Furin is nothing like he imagined. Its students, known as Bofurin, use their strength to protect the town of Makochi and are loved by the people who live there. For the first time, Sakura finds others fighting beside him instead of pushing him away. When dangerous rivals threaten the town, he begins learning something harder than winning a brawl: accepting kindness and fighting for someone other than himself.
