Maiden Blood

The world has fallen into unending darkness, its surviving humans at the mercy of an evil god and demons. Blood sustains what remains of civilization as currency, fuel, and the forbidden basis of weapons capable of fighting back.

Sisters Eva and Epica are bound to that struggle. Epica has lost her soul but possesses extraordinary battle power; Eva, unable to walk since birth, alone has the blood that can awaken it. Each holds what the other needs to resist the creatures ruling their ruined world.
