Gundam: Mission to the Rise

In the late Universal Century, the Earth Federation attempts an experiment that could push a spacecraft beyond the speed of light. Zeon forces strike the orbital launch facility just as the test reaches its critical stage, turning a scientific breakthrough into a desperate battle.

The facility cannot survive the assault, but the experimental craft manages to launch before destruction closes in. As a Zeon unit pursues it toward the strange phenomenon opened by the test, the mission crosses from military conflict into an unknown realm where neither side can predict what comes next.
