Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu: Arata naru Tatakai no Overture

Reinhard von Müsel returns to the Galactic Empire after a brilliant victory over the Free Planets Alliance, earning promotion and the name Count von Lohengramm. Across the stars, Yang Wen-li returns home with far less celebration, hoping for a brief escape from the war after once again proving his strategic genius.

The respite ends when political maneuvering sends Reinhard toward Alliance territory with twenty thousand ships. The Alliance answers with twice that number, convinced overwhelming force will guarantee victory. Reinhard prepares a trap, however, and Yang recognizes it almost immediately. The coming Battle of Astarte will depend on whether either side listens to the one commander who understands what is about to happen.
