Sword Art Online: Alicization - War of Underworld

After Administrator's fall, Underworld briefly grows quiet, but Kirito leaves the battle missing an arm and almost completely unresponsive in mind and spirit. Alice cares for him in Rulid Village and has largely abandoned her life as a knight, until news arrives that the Dark Territory is preparing a full invasion of the Human Empire.

Alice is forced to take up her sword again while Kirito becomes someone who must be protected rather than the hero everyone depends on. Gabriel leads the enemy from within Underworld in search of the Priestess of Light, beginning a war whose consequences reach beyond the virtual inhabitants. Outside, Asuna and Kirito's allies race to reach him before others exploit the system and turn Underworld's souls into a real battlefield.
