Fengshen Bang

The final years of the Shang dynasty descend into cruelty as King Zhou falls under the influence of Daji, a beautiful concubine hiding the nature of a fox spirit. Officials who resist the king are punished, ordinary people suffer, and opposition gathers around Ji Fa of Zhou and his strategist Jiang Ziya.

The struggle between Shang and Zhou soon expands beyond human armies. Immortals, demons, spirits, and gifted warriors join both sides, turning political rebellion into a supernatural war. Entrusted with the Fengshen Bang, Jiang Ziya carries the authority to assign heavenly ranks after death, so victory will decide not only who rules the land, but how many of the fallen will enter the order of the gods.
