Dragon Ball Kai (2014)

Life has changed greatly in the seven years since Cell was defeated. Gohan now attends high school and secretly protects the city as the Great Saiyaman, while a martial-arts tournament brings old friends together and allows Goku to return from the afterlife for a single day. The reunion is broken by the Supreme Kai's warning: the wizard Babidi is collecting energy to awaken Majin Buu. Vegeta's pride gives Babidi the opportunity he needs, and Buu's release turns a contained threat into a disaster for Earth. As fighters fall and the enemy changes form again and again, survival depends on fusion, a younger generation's strength, and sacrifices from people once thought too proud or selfish to make them.
