Synopsis
On the day of the Tanabata festival, Shidou Itsuka unexpectedly meets Kurumi Tokisaki, the Spirit feared as one of his most dangerous enemies. Instead of attacking him, Kurumi asks him on a date. Shidou accepts warily, and the two move through a planetarium, festival stalls, and even a mock wedding ceremony while his friends search for him nearby.
The longer they spend together, the harder it becomes for Shidou to reconcile the gentle girl beside him with the terrifying Kurumi he knows. Her unusually soft behavior is not meaningless, and as the evening ends, the truth behind this one-day romance gives their date a far more painful significance.
