Koukyuu no Karasu

Deep within the imperial palace lives Ryuu Jusetsu, the Raven Consort, a woman who holds a prestigious title yet never shares the emperor's bedchamber. Rumors claim she does not age and can speak with spirits, recover lost objects, and cast curses. Jusetsu prefers solitude until the young emperor Ka Koushun asks her to investigate a mystery connected to a restless ghost. One request leads to another, each revealing love, injustice, or grief that palace records tried to erase. As Jusetsu slowly forms bonds with people she once kept at a distance, Koushun begins looking into the origin of her forbidden position. Their search reveals that the Raven Consort's isolation is not merely tradition, but part of an ancient order the palace has good reason to fear disturbing.
