The disaster begins with a drunken wish from Hinata Tachibana: if he were an incredibly beautiful woman, romance might finally be easy. A goddess takes him literally, sends Hinata and his longtime friend Tsukasa Jinguuji to a fantasy world, transforms Hinata, and orders the pair to defeat its Demon Lord. That mission should be the difficult part. Instead, the two discover that simply standing near each other has become dangerously awkward, with each feeling attraction he insists must be a divine charm. They rush to complete the quest before the supposed curse ruins their friendship, only for every monster, kingdom, and ridiculous misunderstanding to make avoiding their feelings harder than surviving the adventure.
