Dragon Ball Movie 1: Shen Long no Densetsu

Goku's quiet life in the mountains changes when Bulma arrives searching for the seven Dragon Balls. Their journey soon brings them together with Oolong and Yamcha, each pursuing the magical spheres for reasons of their own. None of them realize that King Gurumes is gathering the same treasures while his soldiers strip the land in search of valuable Blood Rubies.

Consumed by a hunger that his riches cannot satisfy, Gurumes hopes Shenron can free him from the curse brought by his greed. Goku and his new companions are pulled into the struggle, where their first great adventure becomes a race to collect the Dragon Balls before a desperate king can make his wish.
