Kai Feng Qitan: Zhege Baogong Bu Taixing

In Northern Song Kaifeng, Bao Zheng serves as an official in a government where corruption has become ordinary. His uncompromising sense of justice makes him an uncomfortable presence for people who would rather settle matters through influence, money, or intimidation.

This Bao Zheng, however, is far from the solemn legend everyone expects. Behind his strange personality lies a sharp mind, an instinct for exposing lies, and a connection to powers associated with the star Megrez. Alongside equally eccentric companions, he tackles cases where courtroom schemes and supernatural absurdity can be part of the same problem.
