Cofun Gal no Coffy (TV)

Coffy is a cheerful schoolgirl who also happens to be an ancient kofun burial mound, surrounded by classmates and neighbors who are equally unusual archaeological monuments. Their ordinary concerns about school, friendship, romance, and popularity collide constantly with the fact that their bodies are tombs filled with history.

Everyday youth comedy turns absurd when ancient burial customs and modern teenage life occupy the same neighborhood, letting Coffy and her friends treat Japan's distant past with the casual drama of a school day.
