Synopsis

In 18th-century Europe, Tenma, Alone, and Sasha grow up as inseparable friends, unaware that an ancient Holy War is about to divide their lives. Sasha is revealed as the reincarnation of Athena, while the gentle Alone is chosen as the vessel of Hades, ruler of the Underworld.

Tenma earns the Pegasus Cloth and becomes one of Athena's Saints, only to find his dearest friend standing at the heart of the enemy army. As Hades' Specters rise and the Lost Canvas begins to spread across the heavens, Tenma and Sasha must fight to save both humanity and the boy they once knew.
