Planetarium Chibi Maruko-chan, Hoshi ni Negai wo

On the way to school, Maruko notices Migiwa dressed unusually well and learns that her horoscope promised good luck if she dressed stylishly. Wondering how anyone could know whether a day will be lucky from the stars, Maruko becomes curious about constellations.

When Hanawa invites everyone to a stargazing gathering, Maruko and her friends look upward and begin learning about the 12 zodiac constellations, the planets of the Solar System, and the night sky above their town in 1974. Their imaginations turn a simple question about fortune-telling into a much bigger journey through the stars.
