Momona is an ordinary middle school girl until Ruby suddenly whisks her away to Jewel Land. There she learns that she has been selected as a Petit Lady, one of several candidates who must pass lessons and challenges in grace, judgment, courage, and compassion for the chance to become the next Lady Jewel.

Guided by Ruby, Momona enters an unfamiliar life of elegant trials, friendships, and rivalry. Her strongest competitor, Lillian, is determined to claim the title for reasons of her own, while both girls become closely connected to Cayenne. As the tests grow more demanding, Momona must discover what being a true lady actually means and decide what kind of future she wants.
