Ippatsu Kanta-kun

Kanta Tobase lives for baseball, just as his late father once did. His mother, however, wants nothing to do with the sport, believing her husband's devotion to it helped take him away from the family. Her refusal only makes Kanta practice more stubbornly, often in secret.

When opportunities arise to prove himself on the field, Kanta throws his entire body and spirit into every play. His passion gradually draws in his brothers, sisters, friends, and even his reluctant mother, giving the large Tobase family a chance to rediscover baseball not as a source of loss, but as something they can share together.
