Jibanyan's beloved Chocobars and Komasan's favorite soft-serve ice cream begin vanishing from the world without explanation. A mysterious Yo-kai claims there is only one way to bring both treats back: Jibanyan and Komasan must fight each other.

While the two friends are pushed toward an absurd showdown, Hovernyan and the spy Komami investigate what is really happening. Their search uncovers a hidden Yo-kai conspiracy and a crisis reaching all the way to Lord Enma, turning a quarrel over sweets into a battle with consequences for the entire Yo-kai World.
