Tamala 2030: A Punk Cat in Dark

In Cat Tokyo, 2030, Tamala lives exactly as she pleases: tiny, capricious, and almost impressively unconcerned by danger. When her detective friend Michelangelo investigates seven disappearances that occurred at the same instant across Cat Japan, Tamala invites herself along. The pattern behind the missing people soon points far beyond an ordinary crime, toward occult roots that reach through history and time.

The deeper the investigation goes, the more often Catty & Co. and its covert agents appear around them, while Tamala herself becomes part of the mystery. Is she only a time-hopping punk cat, a mascot manufactured by a megacorporation, or something much older and more dangerous? With cosmic implications closing in, Tamala remains stubbornly herself, as if the end of everything were still no reason to stop dancing.
