Black Jack: Futari no Kuroi Isha

A bombing campaign against the powerful Daedalus Group brings Black Jack into contact with victims who need the impossible surgical skill for which he is famous. At the same time, he crosses paths with Dr. Kiriko, a physician whose answer to unbearable suffering is not to preserve life at any cost, but to offer a painless death.

Their opposing beliefs are tested when the activists known as the Ghost of Icarus draw both doctors into a conspiracy involving betrayal and a biological weapon. Black Jack must keep his patients alive while the danger grows beyond any single operating room, forcing two doctors of darkness to confront the value of life from opposite sides.
