Seishun Buta Yarou wa Dear Friend no Yume wo Minai

When Mai Sakurajima publicly declares that she is Touko Kirishima, the mysterious singer who captivated the internet, the scene unfolds exactly as Sakuta Azusagawa saw it in a dream on Christmas Eve. More impossible events soon follow, each one echoing something another person once dreamed, as though reality has begun obeying dreams instead of its own rules.

The hashtag that once connected those dreams disappears, leaving Sakuta unable to reconcile what he remembers with the world in front of him. Then a message arrives from another version of himself with a warning: stop Touko before reality is rewritten for good. To restore the world he knows, Sakuta begins searching for the truth behind Touko, trying to understand a new manifestation of Adolescent Syndrome before the reality he remembers is lost for good.
