After D4 FES., Merm4id and RONDO are both thinking about what should come next. Rika's unusually serious behavior catches the attention of the people around her, while Tsubaki begins reconsidering where RONDO's music and her own voice are headed.

Rika eventually arrives at ALTER-EGO with a proposal that brings the two groups together. Their very different styles could easily clash, but the challenge becomes an opportunity to create a performance neither Merm4id nor RONDO could have made alone.
