Sazae-san

Sazae Fuguta lives in a busy multigenerational home with her husband Masuo, young son Tarao, parents Namihei and Fune, and younger siblings Katsuo and Wakame. Their lives are built from ordinary things: school, shopping, work, neighbors, meals, money, manners, and the small misunderstandings that can occupy an entire household.

Sazae's energy and curiosity often put her at the center of the day's commotion, while Katsuo's schemes and the family's different personalities ensure there is always something to discuss. Nothing needs to threaten the world for a day to matter; the humor and warmth come from watching a family argue, adapt, forgive, and sit down together again.
