Spica Virgo dreams of entering the Royal Diana Academy and becoming a great sorceress like Claude Sirius, the youngest instructor the school ever had before his mysterious disappearance. There is one serious problem: Spica cannot use magic at all, and she has neither money nor connections to find the mentor required for admission.

A talking black cat with exceptional magic suddenly appears, looking like the impossible answer she needed. He has a problem of his own—a curse that trapped him in feline form—so the two make a secret bargain: he will teach her magic if she helps restore his body. Unfortunately, the method for breaking the curse is far more embarrassing than any spell, and their master-apprentice pact soon begins uncovering secrets neither expected.
